THEIR NAMES, THEIR GRADES: NUC releases identities of varsities with poor rankings, and the points they scored from analysis of twelve indicators, which made them the first five from behind

 

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has released a list of worst universities in Nigeria in its latest rankings.

Just as there are best universities in Nigeria, so are worst private and public universities and colleges.

In light of this, that it is the worst university doesn’t necessarily mean they have the worst teaching methods or they have the worst lecturers but rather do not meet up with the required qualities as were outlined by the NUC

According to the NUC, this ranking was made from analysis of twelve indicators. From the list, the worst University in Nigeria is the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University in Bauchi State

1. Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University – 0.59 points

2. Igbinedion University – 4.05 points

3. Renaissance University – 8.92 points

4. Legacy University – 12.11 points

5. Al-Qalam University – 13.62 points
